What inevitably follows a blog post

I wrote something that I thought was funny and then posted it on my blog. You being you, didn’t read it. Me being me took that to mean you have been harboring negative feelings towards me for quite some time. So I took down the post, even though it made me chuckle, deleted any mention of my blog’s existence on Facebook and sent a message to a friend that said the following.

-Nobody read my post

Her being her, she responded with

-I read it

-But you didn’t like it on Facebook

-I will later

-But now it’s like I’m asking you to. I genuinely want you to like it.

-I enjoyed it.

-Well you should have made your enjoyment measurable through analytics.

-Next time

-I’ve given up on writing

-That’s too bad. You’re good at it.
